It is an honor to serve our community as Town Supervisor. I am committed to maintaining responsible financial management, supporting quality services, and ensuring that our town remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

John is currently serving his fourth term as Town Supervisor, having first taken office in 2018. Prior to that, he served the Town of Granby as Deputy Supervisor for eight years and was appointed Budget Officer in 2010; a role he continues to hold today.

He is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada, as well as the New York Government Finance Officers Association (NYGFOA), where he serves vice president and contributes to the Legal and Legislative Committee. In 2018, John became only the second town supervisor in New York State to earn the designation of Certified Town Official from the Association of Towns.

John places a strong emphasis on professional development. In April 2022, he completed the Advanced Level of NYGFOA’s Government Finance Institute and has earned professional certificates in asset management planning and infrastructure financial management.

In addition to his work in town government, John spent 15 years with the Hannibal Central School District as a high school academic interventionist. He currently serves as an accountant in the Oswego County Treasurer’s Office. He is also the pastor and pianist for Jacksonville Faith Community, an active member of Bowens Corners UMC, and a resident of South Granby.
